LAHORE - Punjab police on Saturday arrested Salman Dar, accused of facilitating suicide attack on former president Gen Pervez Musharraf in 2008.

SP City Investigation Iqrar Shah said the name of the accused was included in the red book and he was wanted by police for the last nine years.

The government had fixed head-money of Rs0.5 million for the arrest of Salman Dar, member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. SP investigation said that the accused had arranged three vehicles in 2008 for attack on Gen Pervez Musharraf.
