CHINIOT - Lawlessness and street crime are growing at an alarming rate in the city and other parts of the district. At least two to three dacoities and robberies per night have become a routine in the district during the current month. The police bosses in Chiniot District claim from time to time that efforts are being made to make the city “safe” and bring down the crime rate. But the reality is different and bitter than their claims.

Every day a house or a shop is burgled in the city and chances of having your car stolen are greater than before even the culprits did not even spare those who tried to resists and short them dead instantly in some cases. Similarly, three culprits Javed, Aslam, Asif were entered in the cattle haveli of Mazhar Iqbal, a resident of 128/JB in the limits of Rajoya Police.
