ISLAMABAD - Islamabad police on Tuesday busted a unique gang of ladies who used to deprive passengers of their valuables including gold armaments during inter-city journey by bus and vans. “Yes it is true that a police team of Aabpara police station has arrested five women who were allegedly involved in bringing down the gold jewellery of female passengers during the journey and also recovered gold ornaments from their possession,” a police spokesman told media on Tuesday. According to details, a police team headed by Sub-Inspector Ghulam Shah from Aabpara police station team arrested five women who used to take away gold ornaments of the lady passengers. during inter-city travel in vans or buses. The nabbed women were identified as Kiran, Rabia, Samia,Ruqiya, Nasreen. Gold jewellery including bangles were also recovered from them and further investigation is underway from them. They have also confessed to commit such crime in area of Tarnol police station by depriving the lady passengers from their gold ornaments.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, different police teams and officials criminals including Mazhar Hussain and Mohammad Khaled and recovered stolen mobiles hashish from their possession.
Sub-Inspectors Abdul Rauf and Shehbaz Ahmed from Ramnah police station recovered 1.200 kilograms hashish during search of a car (IDA-8906) while Farooq and Sheerazi were arrested for possessing hashish and 30 bore pistol. Sub-Inspector Ghulam Shabbir from Tarnol police apprehended three drug pushers Khadim Hussian, Nur Badhsah, Waisal Ahmed during routine patrolling and recovered a total of 8.5 kilograms hashish and 30 bore pistol from them. Sub-Inspector Ahmed Kamal from Industrial area police nabbed Abdul Hameed and Ali for possessing a total of 700 grams hashish. Shalima police recovered a Suzuki Mehran car (RIV-6894) stolen from Taxila. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
