LAHORE - Pakistan cricket's chief selector M Ilyas has said that no replacement of seamer M Talha will be sent to United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the team management has already choices with them in pace bowling.

"There is no need of replacement of pacer Talha as there are Wahab Riaz and Junaid Khan who can reinforce the pace battery besides Aizaz Cheema has also recovered from an injury," the chief selector said while talking to the reporters here at Gadaffi Stadium on Tuesday.

He further said that Talha had been ruled out of action due to back injury and he was returning home from the first available flight.

The chief selector said England were the No 1 team in Test ranking and with their defeat against Pakistan in just three days was a big achievement on account of the Pakistan team which should not forget the aspect of a fight back from the English side in the second Test starting today (Wednesday).

"It was a memorable victory but based on that we should not underestimate their strength in coming ties as they can bounce back because after losing a match, any team can be dangerous and so could be the England side," he added.

Ilyas was confident that Pakistan team will show consistency in the second Test and all the players will put up collective efforts to present another sterling performance to surprise their English opponents.
