BAHAWALPUR - Bahawalpur National Awami Party (BNAP) leader Mst Abida Durrani has underlined the need for complete unity to ensure progress on the way to the goal which is the restoration of Bahawalpur provincial status. The restoration of Bahawalpur provincial status will result in the development of the area and welfare of its residents who have been deprived of their rights since long.

While presiding over a meeting of the BNAP here, she stressed the need for start organisation process of the party at the Union Council level to strengthen its root and a door to door special campaign should be launched at the UC level to mobilize public for the cause of the restoration of the Bahawalpur provincial status. She said that all out efforts should be made to avail the support of the Senior Citizens of the area and female besides youth should be motivated for joining hands in the struggle.

CHOLISTAN UPLIFT PRIORITY: All-out efforts will be made to promote the Cholistani culture and uplift of the area to ensure welfare of the inhabitants of Cholistan.

This was stated by Bahawalpur division Commissioner Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed while speaking at Camel Show held at Derawar Fort, Cholistan in which a number of camels took part. Various NGOs of the area set-up different stalls on the occasion to highlight the handicrafts of the Cholistan.

An exhibition Kabbdi match was also played on the occasion among the Cholistani players besides the camel race.
