CM mourns King’s death in Saudi embassy

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif went to Saudi Embassy in Islamabad on Saturday and expressed condolences with acting Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan, Muhammad Jasim Al-Khalidi, over the death of Saudi King Shah Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
The chief minister recorded his impressions in the condolence book. On this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Shah Abdullah would be remembered as a sagacious and great leader of the world.
He said that Shah Abdullah had deep love with Pakistani people and was a sincere and true friend of Pakistan.
He further said that the late king laid the foundation of modern Saudi Arabia and played an active role for the unity of Ummah. Shahbaz Sharif said that with the death of Shah Abdullah, Pakistan lost its sincere and best friend.
