PESHAWAR  : Jamaat Islami (JI) Central Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that Pakistan is an Islamic ideological state and all conspiracies being hatched to make Pakistan a secular state would be foiled. "European countries will have to stop hurting sentiments of the over a billion Muslims across the world by publishing sacrilegious caricatures," Sirajul Haq said while taking to students of Jamiat Talba Arabia here at Al-Maraz Islami on Saturday.  The students met him under the auspices of JTA Peshawar chapter administrator Hafiz Shamsher Shahid. He said that religious seminaries are playing a vital role in spreading and promoting the teachings of Islam and have no relations with terrorism.
He urged upon the students to pay attention towards contemporary education along with the religious education, adding in today's world modern education is also necessary to compete. "We will be successful in this world and hereafter by following the teachings of Quran and Sunnah," he maintained.
The JI central chief was also optimistic about party future and said that his party would emerge as a strongest political force of the country. He also said that a uniform education system across the country would be introduced. Siraj vowed to support religious seminaries and will foil all conspiracies being hatched against them in the garb of terrorism. He also said that the slogan of Islamic Pakistan and prosperous Pakistan is speedily getting popularity among the people specially among youth.
