LAHORE - The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Saturday announced to organise the 10th Cholistan Jeep Rally in Darawar Fort, Cholistan from February 13 to 15, 2015.

This was announced by Minister for Tourism, Sports and Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan who was the chief guest at a ceremony held here at a local club. Managing Director Tourism Ahmar Malik, MPA Tahiya Noon, TDCP vice chairman Imran Ali Goraiya, CM Inspection Team Punjab chairman Irfan Ali, Youth Affairs Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab secretary M Khan Khichi and participants of the rally and others were also present on the occasion.

The Cholistan Jeep Rally was inaugurated in way back 2005 which has now gained the status of a festival and is being participated by a huge number of local and foreigner contestants. On the other hand, the number of spectators has also increased as around two to three hundred thousand enthusiasts came to witness this international standard festival.  Pakistan Army, Punjab Rangers, Punjab Police, City District Govt Bahawalpur, Cholistan Development Authority, Hobara Foundation, and other private companies and sponsors and especially TDCP Nawab Salahuddin have great contribution in making this festival a huge success.  At the end, the chief guest distributed souvenirs among the notable drivers while the MD tourism thanked all the guests and organisers for their arrival.
