LAHORE - A 30-year-old motorcyclist was crushed to death by a careless van driver in Mustafabad, police said on Saturday.
Resident of Shalamaar, Sawab Ahmed Khan, was on his way home when a van bumped into his two-wheeler near Dharampura underpass on Canal Road. The motorcyclist died on the spot. Police arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
Later, the deceased’s family forgave the driver and refused to initiate legal action against him. Police handed over the body to the family.
SHOT DEAD: Millat Park police are yet to arrest the gunmen who killed a 23-year-old man outside his residence late on Friday. Resident of Mumtaz Road, Muhammad Ishtiaq, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcyclists in front of his house. The police have registered a murder case and are investigating.
