Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that new opportunities have been created by augmenting economic activities and the farmers have benefited greatly from the measures taken for agricultural development in the province, reported Radio Pakistan.

He was chairing a meeting to review the progress of work on the ongoing development projects in Lahore on Thursday.

He said that government has launched mega projects like Danish schools, metro bus systems, educational funds, modern infrastructure and hospitals in the province.

He said that all the units of Pakistan have been included in the welfare programs of the Punjab government to strengthen national unity.
