KHAIRPUR - Four people were died in separate mishaps in Khairpur on Wednesday.

According to details, some unidentified armed persons gunned down a youth Nazeer Ahmed Kanasro at Mad Link Road near Sobhodero when he was going to his village on car.

The Sobhodero police reached the spot and took body into custody and later shifted it to taluka hospital.

Police did not lodge the case of the incident till filing of this story.

In another, incident Awam Express crushed a man to death near Therhi railway crossing. A-section police shifted the body to civil hospital for legal formalities.

Later, the body was identified as Najeebullah Memon, resident of village Therhi. The relatives of deceased said that Najeebullah was missing for the past five days.

Separately, two labourers Asharaf and Dharejo received electric shock from an open wire when they were unloading material from a truck at Panjahati Mohalla, Khairpur. Resultantly, they injured and rushed to civil hospital but they succumbed to their injuries in way to hospital.

Later, the bodies were shifted to their village Ahsan Dharejo near Khairpur after legal formalities.

Online Examination Student Portal System has been designed and developed at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. This system was designed by Farhan Ali Surahio, Teaching Assistant & Developer, Shah Abdul Latif, Shikarpur Campus under the supervision of Assadullah Bhatti, Shikarpur Campus.

Farhan Ali Surahio  briefed VC Prof Dr Parveen Shah about the system.

He said the system would be tested in production environment hopefully from Feb 2018. The link via official SALU web site will be provided to students to apply/request for educational certificates like pass certificate, transcript, degree etc online.

The objective of the system is to make transaction secure, smooth and reliable for university as well as students.

 

As System is web based so it removes the time and distance barrier for students, they can apply/request for their certificates at any time from anywhere.

Prof. Dr. Parveen Shah congratulated the designers and appreciated their efforts in the betterment of University. She said, by operation of this system, the examination system will be more transparent and the students could avail this facility at their door step.

Prof. Dr. Lutfullah Mangi, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Shikarpur Campus, Prof. Dr. Syed Asad Raza Abidi, Registrar, Syed Mehdi Shah Rashdi, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibopoto and others were present during the briefing.
