The Intizar murder case has taken another turn after the involvement of another girl revealed into a murder.

The police investigators have also included former Anti-Car Lifting Cell chief SSP Muquddus Haider into the investigations and also recorded his statement.

Sources privy to the matter said that the Intizar murder case has taken another turn after the name of another girl, namely Laila has been revealed during the investigations.

Earlier, the family of the deceased had claimed the involvement of the Intizar’s two friends – Madiha Kayani who was accompanied by a victim at a time of incident occurred and another Salman. The police investigators have already included them into the investigations and recorded their statements.

The police investigation team and the family have expressed their unawareness of another girl Laila. Police investigation team and the family said that they did not know any kind like Laila, however, as the suspected involvement of another girl has been revealed, the police investigators are searching for that girl.

On the other hand, the father of the deceased remained insisted that the former SSP ACLC Haider should be arrested as he was involved in the murder while the judicial inquiry of the incident should be conducted.

Following the allegations, the police investigators have included SSP Haider into investigations and recorded his statement, however, SSP Haider said that he did not know any girl with the name Madiha Kayani and even he did not meet with such girl. However, the same responded the same statement. Police investigators said that they also checked the cell phone records of the Madiha Kayani and the Intizar Ahmed but the number of the SSP Haider did not find.

Intizar Ahmed, was shot dead late on January 13 evening at Khayaban-e-Ittehad after the officials and personnel of the Karachi police’s specialized cell - ACLC resorted to indiscriminate fire at a White Corolla, killing a victim at the spot. Though the police had initially claimed that the boy was killed in an act of targeted killing by at least two armed assailants riding a motorcycle, however, it later revealed that the ACLC officials and personnel were behind the brutal murder of the Intizar Ahmed.

Later, the Darakshan police had arrested eight ACLC personnel including two inspectors and two gunmen of the ACLC chief SSP Muquddus Haider over the murder while SSP Haider, two DSPs were also removed from their posts and IGP Sindh has constituted an inquiry committee headed by CTD DIG Amir Farooqi after transferring investigations from District South Investigations police.
