Our Staff Reporter KARACHI - Ship MV Pu Tou Hai carrying 45,550 metric tons of imported Urea has arrived and berthed at Gwadar Port on Sunday. The discharge of the cargo has also commenced. Two more vessels MV Apostolos-II carrying 25,000 MT and MV Hai Yu carrying 26,200 MT urea are scheduled to arrive Gwadar Port and Port Qasim on 26th and 28th July, 2011, respectively, said a press release in TCP. The Shipment arrived by MV Pu Tou Hai and the urea carrying by MV Hai Yu is in response to Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) tender awarded to M/s. Transammonia AG, Switzer and M/s. Multicommerce LLC, USA. Whereas, the third vessel MV Apostolos-II is carrying the balance quantity of imported urea committed by M/s. Sabic to be supplied during July, 2011 under the Saudi Fund for Development credit facility. In nutshell, a quantity of 125,000 MT would arrive against the total import of Urea lined-up by TCP. The transportation of imported Urea from the ports and its subsequent marketing will be handled by M/s. National Fertilizer Marketing Limited (NFML).
