KARACHI - The MQM will again submit the requisition to summon a fresh session of the Sindh Assembly to discuss on incidents of targeted killings in city and other issues. The MQMs nominated Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly will submit the request this week as agenda has been prepared by the session. The agenda for discussion of Sindh Assembly included rapidly deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and other districts of Sindh, failure of police and administration to save the lives and properties of innocent people. The recent attacks in Malir and Landhi, which led killing of scores of people including MQMs workers, would also be part of agenda of assembly discussion. The MQM lawmakers already announced that requisition would be submitted for summoning of assembly session soon. Besides, the MQM in its requisition request would also demand for discussion on loadshedding of electricity from eight to sixteen hours as well as loadshedding of gas and announcement on non-supply of CNG for two days a week in the province. The unresolved issue between KESC management and labour union resulting severe abruption of normal life of Karachi would also be included for discussion in Sindh Assembly. The MQM had filed requisition on July 9, but PPP summoned the government session of assembly, consequently MQMs desired agenda could not be taken up in the last session.
