HAFIZABAD - A poor worker and his wife have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to help them recovery their three minor daughters who have been abducted by a personnel of the Police Qaumi Razakar (PQR) Hafizabad in June last. They also demanded the Chief Minister to order a stern action against the police for siding with the accused and mentioning the abduction only one girl. They said that the police have registered a case against the said Qaumi Razakar namely Azhar for abducting their one daughter despite that the fact that the accused had lured away their three daughters 15-year-old Farzana, 13-year-old Rizwana and 7-year-old Adeeba. According to Mushtaq Shah and his wife Akhtari Bibi, they were residing in Azhars house situated in Mian Da Kot as tenant. The accused lured away their three daughters. The police, in papers, have arrested the accused Azhar but he is roaming freely. While tears rolling on their cheeks, they said that they ran from pillar to post for the registration of a case against the accused. Finally got the case registered, though incomplete, after paying Rs15000 to a tout namely Shamshad. They further said that according to the data of cell phone and voice record of the cell phone of accused Azhar, it has been proved that he has kept the daughters with his accomplices Akmal son of Abbas Ali etc in Goth Sardar Muhammad Khan Sher, Tehsil Deherki, district Gotki (Sindh). They alleged that the DPO and Hafizabad City Police were not extending any help for the recovery of their daughters. Now we have spent all our hard-earned money in the search for their daughters and the police are demanding money for conducting a raid in Sindh to recover the girls, they calimed. They threatened that if their daughters were not recovered they along with three other daughters, would commit collective suicide. They have fervently appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister and the IG Police to take notice of their plight and order immediate recovery of their minor daughters. They also demanded stern action the accused.When contacted, the police said that they have arrested one accused and efforts are being made to recover the abductees.
