ISLAMABAD - Job appointment letters have been issued to several newly employed children of deceased employees of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco).
Chief Executive Officer Iesco, Javed Pervaiz, on the occasion said, “We pay rich tribute to the employees who died during the performing of their duties and upon the acknowledgement of their services we are distributing the letters of appointment among their children.”
The CEO while addressing the employees said that he expects the children of deceased persons of IESCO who are given job in the organisation will perform with the same passion and honesty as their fathers used to do.
He said that employees are expected to help improving the standard of service of the organisation and making it prosperous more rapidly.
It is worth mentioning here that every year many people serving in the Iesco and other distribution companies lose their lives.
The main reason behind this is poor safety standards being exercised in the energy sector of Pakistan.
