Punjab gifts 8 laptops to Sadiqabad Bar

SADIQABAD - Punjab donated eight laptops, a scanner and a printer to the Sadiqabad Tehsil Bar Association.
“The provincial government is making an all-our effort to resolve the lawyers’ problems, said the Rahim Yar Khan district coordination officer while addressing the distribution ceremony at the bar room. “Lawyers and the administration jointly can play a pivotal role to provide justice to the people. The government is determined to provide all the facilities to the lawyers community. The appliances have been handed over to the Hafeezur Rehman, the president of the bar,” DCO Dr Ahmad Javed Qazi added.
On the occasion, Additional and Sessions Judge Khawaja Muhammad Ajmal, Civil Judges Muhammad Akram, Gull Khan, Imran Farooq, Muhammad Ishaq, Rehan Sabteen, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Jabbar, Bar Secretary General Fakhruddin, Sheikh Nadeem, Ejaz Hussain, Mian Khalid, Asghar Ali and Malik Abdul Rauf.
The DCO said that the Punjab government had issued over Rs120,000 funds for each bar library across the Punjab, adding that the government would continue cooperation with the judiciary and the bar associations. 
Later, the bar president thanked the DCO and the Punjab government for distribution of laptops to the lawyers and presented a bouquet to the DCO. He also apprised the DCO of the lawyers’ problems.
He explained that in court premises, the litigants are faced with many hardships because of absence of a shed therefore, a shed must be constructed there. However, the DCO assured him of full cooperation in this regard.
