LAHORE – Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Habib-ur-Rehman has said officers like Anwar Virk are the real asset of the Punjab police and the department is pleased at his appointment as director general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

According to a police spokesperson, these remarks were delivered by Punjab Additional IGP Malik Khuda Bakhsh Awan on the IGP’s behalf in a farewell meeting held at the Central Police Office on Tuesday.

DIG Headquarters Muhammad Tahir, DIG (R&D) Muhammad Amlish, DIG (Investigations) Punjab Ali Aamir Malik, AIG Admin Suhail Sukhera, AIG Training, Maqsood-ul-Hassan, AIG Operations Sahibzada Shehzad Sultan and SSP Sajjad Manj were also present on the occasion. FIA Director General Anwar Virk also paid glorious tribute to the IGP.
