UK restores prisoners swap agreement with Pakistan

LONDON- United Kingdom (UK) has restored the prisoners exchange agreement with Pakistan today.

According to sources, the extradition agreement was first signed in 2010. The agreement was suspended when the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government released three prisoners, brought from United Kingdom, that were awarded death sentence.

Sources further said that the UK government raised the issue with the current government on which one of the freed prisoners was arrested whereas the search for the rest is underway. It is being said that that Britain had restored the agreement due to the steps of the incumbent government.
