Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor thanked the brave Pakistani nation for using their right to vote and showing their love for the men in uniform.
Right after the polling time was over, Ghafoor posted an emotional tweet on military’s official twitter handle, thanking the Pakistani nation.
“Thank you Pakistan,” wrote DG ISPR in his tweet.
Thank you fellow Pakistanis. World has seen your love & respect for Pak Armed Forces & LEAs today. U hv rejected all kinds of malicious propaganda. We are strong because we have your unflinching support. Our lives are dedicated to Pakistan and its People.

“World has seen Pakistani nation's love and respect for Pakistan armed forces and LEAs today,” he added in his emotional tweet.
He further said, “Pakistani nation have rejected all kinds of malicious propaganda.”
“Unflinching support of Pakistani nation is behind the strength of Pakistan's armed forces,” Ghafoor concluded.
Earlier, the pictures had had been circulating on mainstream as well as social media in which voters of all ages could be seen showing their affection to military men deployed at various polling stations.
