PPP to contest Peshawar Cantt Board elections

PESHAWAR   -   Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Peshawar City chapter has announced to participate in Cantonment Board (CB) elections and decided to field candidates on all wards of the board. 

The decision was taken during a meeting held with President PPP Peshawar city, Zulfiqar Afghani in chair here on Saturday. Provincial senior vice president of PPP Ayub Shah, Tahir Abbas, Yawar Naseer, Shaukatullah, Jehanzeb Takadar, Faheem Shah, Tariq Rahim, Aizaz Shah and others office-bearers were also present on the occasion. 

PPP candidates for Cantonment Board polls include Yedullah Bangash, Naeem Bakhsh, Mohammad Usman and Imran Ghauri. The meeting unanimously decided full participation in Cantonment Board polls and fielded candidates on all wards. Addressing the meeting, Zulfiqar Afghani said that PPP would show good results in the Peshawar Cantonment Boards polls and urged upon the party workers to launch election campaign.
