I, on behalf of the Christian community would like to thank the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for allocating a reasonable amount in the budget for deserving and talented students of the minorities. A simple but impressive ceremony was recently held in Lahore where Christian students were awarded scholarships in recognition of their talent and outstanding results in recent examinations. The gesture has boosted the morale and confidence of the minority students manifolds.
