I salute Marvi Memon an MNA who resigned from her seat and also severed her connection with her party, PML-Q because of her differences with government with regard to annual budget and her party for joining the government. By doing so, she stands like a single star among 342 MNAs, some of whom not only talk ill of their party heads but idolize them in their presence. This is the height of hypocrisy which encourages heads of political parties to award party ticket for election to their cronies and stooges in order to perpetuate their rule-which is more authoritarian in character and less democratic in substance.
