LAHORE (APP) - The district administration completed 100 consecutive days of its drive against encroachments and removed various illegal structures on more than 25 kilometres area in all the nine towns on Friday. The administration of the towns following directions of the DCO participated in the operation and removed illegally constructed shops, several pedestals and other illegal structures. According to the city government sources, anti-encroachment teams also lodged FIRs against encroachers in various areas besides seizing six truckloads of different materials. The towns have also been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed to avoid reconstruction of such illegal structures.
