KARACHI - Sindh police on Friday thwarted a terror activity and recovered a 40-kg bomb at Doctors Colony of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). At around 10AM, the police department received a call that a mysterious bag was lying near a wall adjacent to the JPMC where the Friday prayers was to be performed by the Shia community. After receiving the information, police, investigation teams, bomb disposal squad and rescuers rushed to the spot and recovered a bag carrying a 40-kg bomb which was later defused by the BDS officials.
