In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, welcoming the foreign secretary level talks between Pakistan and India, has said that war is no solution to the Kashmir dispute. According to Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmed Shah addressing a public gathering in Langate said that both the countries had fought wars in past but apart from death and destruction nothing was achieved. He said that there had been many rounds of talks between the Pakistan and India in the past but unfortunately they were proven futile exercises. Shabbir Shah pointed out that the Kashmiris were not fed up and hopeless in their liberation struggle although the Kashmir dispute had been lingering since many decades. "But the fact is that it has made their intentions for the cause stronger," he added.
