LAHORE (PR): A seminar aims to present policy briefs based on assessments of the Community Midwives (CMW) Programme; its quality of training and deployment protocols and the newly-instituted online CMW Management Information System (MIS) was held at a local hotel here. Also included was an overview of the revised curriculum of community midwives and the Mid Term Evaluation of the MNCH Programme.
Senior policy makers from the MNCH Programme and Punjab Health Ministry as well as representatives from PNC were also attended the event. Minister of Health Punjab Khalil Tahir Sindhu expressed his appreciation for the event. He said that events bringing together stakeholders from across the board would be beneficial for improving health indicators.
