Presently, it is the need of the hour that all political forces in Pakistan cooperate with each other and form a consensus at least on major national issues like terrorism, national security, economy and social sector. The people have suffered enough, due to the verbal one-manship of our leaders. This is why the current federal and provincial governments have inherited a host of problems.

It is well known that no party can single-handedly resolve the problems facing Pakistan. Therefore, the opposition should offer valuable and practical suggestions to the government in the country’s interest. On its part, the government must patiently listen to opposing viewpoints and incorporate them while formulating its policy on national issues.
