LAHORE - A 35-year-old woman and her two sons were buried alive when the roof of their dilapidated house collapsed on them in Shahdara Town, police and rescue workers said on Tuesday.
The mother, along with and her sons, was sleeping in their house located near Javedpura bus-stop, when the roof of the house caved in after downpour late on Monday night. Rescuers reached the spot soon after the neighbours contacted the Punjab Emergency Service and called for help.
The wife of Muhammad Aslam and her two sons, 4-year-old Bilal and 8-month-old Mustafa, were rushed to Shahdara hospital, where they were pronounced as brought dead. Further investigation was underway.
