ISLAMABAD - Strongly rejecting the allegations for receiving Indian government funds, Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM) claimed their patriotism and love with Pakistan till least breath.
“MQM members are true Pakistanis...They will continue their struggle for the country and such allegations are totally baseless,” Abdul Rashid Godil, MQM’s parliamentary leader in the National Assembly, told The Nation.
MQM has been facing tough time with different intervals from different corners since 1992 but its workers and members are united and have love for their country, he said.
“Those who are awarding certificates of disloyalty to MQM have narrow-minded approach about us,” said Godil, adding MQM has always proved itself innocent of such kind of misleading allegations.
“Stop blaming MQM...We are Pakistanis and will fight for our country’s welfare,” he said rejecting all the allegations against the MQM - the third largest Opposition party in the National Assembly.
“We are not afraid of such allegations,” he added.
