However, the Pakistan Awami Tehreek has not announced the date of protests.

“Instructions are issued to all the district presidents to start preparations to hold rallies against load shedding,” said Abbasi said while addressing the CWC. He said Pakistan had never witnessed such an incompetent government which had paid all its attention to shiny projects like metro bus and had all together forgotten that electricity was the slogan they took before the elections and the people gave them votes after they promised to address the power issue in six months.

Abbasi said now two years had past but the issue remained where it was several years ago. He said that the government failed to control load shedding even at Sehri and Iftari time.

Meanwhile the PAT had made all its preparations to hold the Itikaf City and the PAT president and other office-bearers are personally overseeing the final preparations for the Itikaf City.
