LAHORE - Punjab Football Association (PFA) president Sardar Naveed Haider Khan-led provincial association congress as well referees association representative Wednesday announced their all-out support for Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for upcoming PFF elections in Changla Gali on June 30.

The PFA congress meeting which was held here at a local hotel and was attended by 36 representatives of 35 districts of Punjab unanimously decided to support Faisal Saleh Hayat while football referees association representative and other provincial heads also announced their complete support for Faisal.

Speaking on the occasion, PFA president Sardar Naveed said: “The FIFA and AFC recognition of Faisal-led group and their best wishes to him for the elections is clear proof that his body is the recognised and legitimate football body and the elections held by it at Changla Gali on June 30 will be observed by FIFA, AFC and POA representatives. “We extend our all-out support to Faisal Saleh Hayat and wish him good luck for the elections,” he added.

He also requested to Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to bar the so-called parallel football body from doing illegal and unconstitutional things and also urged him to help the real PFF in getting vacated the PFF House.
