Sikh Yatrees arrived in Sacha Sauda Temple near Farooqabad, some 18 km away from here, on Tuesday to perform their spiritual rites.

The Deputy Secretary Shrines Fraz Abbas and other district officials welcomed the visitors. Tight security measures have been taken for the event.

After performing the religious rites the yatrees returned to Nankana Sahib. Their leader Sardar Raam Paal Singh talking to the media expressed satisfaction and thankfulness over the maintenance of sikh community worship places and extending hospitality and security arrangements to them.

Raam demanded the both government should soften the visa policy so the people from both side of the border could visit easily.
