LAHORE - Amjad Islam Amjad has said that the youth must have the courage to ask questions to enhance their knowledge.
The eminent writer and poet expressed these ideas while addressing the students of the Ideological Summer School on the 16th day of its annual educational session.
The school is being run at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan under the aegis of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust. The event was attended by Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Vice Chairman Professor Dr. Rafique Ahmad, Justice (r) Munir Ahmad Mughal and a large number of students and teachers.
Dr Amjad Islam Amjad further observed that information goes on changing, whereas knowledge remains constant. By finding answers to all the questions arising in their mind, the youngsters can increase their knowledge and make a valuable construction to their country.
They should never be shy to ask questions in order to increase their knowledge. Nowadays, they can also resort to gadgets and gizmos to add to their knowledge. Any individual or nation can become powerful by using the energy of their thinking process, he added. Justice (r) Munir Ahmad Mughal exhorted the students to be disciplined and rely on themselves. We should not be over-awed by the glamour and glitter of the developed nations, instead, we should also work hard to achieve prosperity and high stature, he added.
At the end, the students showing an excellent performance in the Summer School’s activities were awarded prizes.
