Former prime minister and PML(N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, has said that the differences between his party and the government on few of the proposed constitutional amendments are not yet resolved, report said. The matter of constitutional reforms has been hijacked by sakes and interests and our dream of complete annulment of 17th Constitutional Amendment is still not materializing, PML-N chief informed the newsmen here in a press briefing. Our recommendations for the constitutional amendments have been thrown out and weve differences with the government on various issues, including the criteria of the appointment of judges, that are not yet resolved. He said he talked Prime Minister Gilani on telephone today and apprised him of the fact that the PML-N still possesses some differences with the government on few issues that should be addressed first before tabling the constitutional package in the Parliament.
