ISLAMABAD- The Capital police added supplementary charges under 7-Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) in the FIR already filed against the two sitting ministers of the AJK Cabinet and seven other persons over their alleged involvement in killing of a PPP-AJK activist, who was gunned down in the Federal Capital a couple of month ago. The PPP-AJK activist Capt (Retd) Tariq Mahmood was shot dead at a polling station- set up for by-polls of the AJK Legislative Assemblys seat Valley-V (LA-40) on February 7- in a clash between PPP-AJK supporters and activists of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (AJKMC). Subsequently, an FIR was lodged with the Aabpara Police Station against seven people of the MC including MLA Ahmad Raza Qadri, Minister for Local Government Raja Nasir and Minister for Housing Murtaza Gilani. The persons nominated in the case got interim bail from the court, however, after this police in a supplement added 7-ATA against the nominated accused. Police sources said that efforts were being made for the arrest of accused but the AJK Government not cooperating in this regard.
