ISLAMABAD  – Citizens of capital territory have called for action against swelling business of fake dentists in all the areas of city.
A streak of quacks is seen doing their business of extracting teeth and even claming to do Root Canal Test (RCT) in the areas of Saidpur Village, Jhangi Syedan, Bani Gala, Shahzad Town, Taramri Chowk, Bara Kahu and other vicinities.
They are stark illiterate people and even cannot write their names but are playing with the lives of people under the garb of dentists.
“I got my tooth extracted from one of these quacks but I am now patient of hepatitis due to use of filthy equipment by that fake dentist. He also charged me heavily as his fee was only 50 rupees less than that of qualified dentist”, said Noman Gul, a citizen.
“I was passing on railway road and I spotted a group of these fake dentists sitting along side the road. I was feeling pain in my teeth since long but my financial sources were not allowing me to consult any dentist. I approached one of these quacks and he extracted my teeth and replaced them with artificial teeth. But now I am admitted to a hospital as the surgery by fake dentist has made me patient of hepatitis, said Abid Ali, a laborer.
Citizens have demanded of concerned authorities to launch operation against these quacks forthwith so that the innocent people could be saved from plundering on their part and fatal diseases they contract due to use of filthy apparatus by these fake dentists.
