Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has blamed that industrial sector of Punjab was being targeted through worst loadshedding and suspension of gas supply to defame the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led provincial government.
Talking to media persons after inaugurating Fatima Jinnah Park in Green Town Lahore, on Sunday, Shahbaz Sharif said that despite the fact that Punjab has major role in total agriculture and industrial production of the country but the discriminatory attitude of the federal government has hit hard the two sectors of the province.
He said that energy crisis was the issue of the entire country but Punjab was targeted intentionally leaving thousands of factory workers and labourers unemployed.
The chief minister held the federal government responsible for the chaotic situation prevailing across the country, especially in economic sector.
Shahbaz termed the recent increase in power tariff as a bomb on common man who was already crushed due to inflation and poor policies of the federal government.
