AHMEDPUR EAST - Bahawalpur National Awami Party Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi has decided to contest the upcoming general elections from PP-268 Ahmedpur East.
As per reports before his departure for Lahore, he consulted local BNAP leaders and announced the decision to contest for the Punjab Assembly seat.
Meanwhile, a BNAP spokesman told the newsmen that Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi intended to play his role in the Punjab Assembly for the restoration of the former provincial status of Bahawalpur hence he would go for the provincial assembly seat.
