KARACHI  - After MQM’s opposition to delimitation, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has also announced to move court against new delimitation of Karachi constituencies.

It should be mentioned that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in accordance with the Supreme Court (SC) directives has approved delimitations in eight provincial and three National Assembly constituencies in the metropolis.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday, PPP Karachi Division General Secretary Syed Najmi Alam said orders by ECP regarding delimitations in the financial hub are unacceptable and his party would move court against it.

Earlier, Altaf Hussain-led Muttahida Qaumi Movement expressed lack of trust in the Election Commission of Pakistan. The MQM declared that it would challenge ECP orders of redawing constituencies in Karachi, in the Sindh High Court (SHC).
