HAFIZABAD - Ulema and Mashaikh of Subcontinent, on the call of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, had played a vital role in Pakistan Movement and today through rededicated they could play the same role for safeguarding the ideological and geographical frontiers of Pakistan, declared Ameer-e-Millat Sajjada Nasheen Syed Munawar Hussain Jamaati here.

Addressing National Mashaikh Conference held here under the auspices of Pakistan Milad Council, he said that Ameer-e-Millat Pir Jamaat Ali Shah had united all Mashaikh at one platform to achieve the independence of sacred homeland. He reminded his audience that Pakistan was came into being after great struggle and supreme sacrifices of Ulema and Mashaikh of subcontinent.

Sajjada Nasheen of Pakpattan Sharif Diwan Ahmad Maudood Masood, Pir Shamim Sabir Sabri Culs Sharif, Pir Bhar Chawindi Sharif, Pir Usman Noori, Pir Atherul Qadri of Choora Sharif, Pir Syed Wasim Abbas and others called upon the Mashaikh to come out of their Darbars and strive to unite the Muslims at one platform to achieve the cherished objectives for which Pakistan came into being.

Bandits hit city, suburbs four times: Dacoits deprived villagers of cash, household articles, bikes and cellphones worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in four strike over the past 12 hours.

According to police sources, two armed bandits intercepted a bike-rider namely Sajid Ali, son of Nazir Ahmad near Jurian village and snatched deprived him of his brand new bike, Rs2,000 and a cellphone. In another incident, five dacoits intruded into the house of Muhammad Akmal in Jalalana village, held the family hostage and made off with two tolas of gold ornaments, cellphones and other valuables.

Similarly, one Mushtaq, a resident of Qadirabad Colony was standing at Pindi Bhattian bypass for a bus when two armed bandits riding a car stopped near him and snatched Rs5000 and cellphone from his at gunpoint.

Meanwhile, unidentified burglars barged into Chadhar General Store in Vanike Tarar and made off Rs12,000 and some merchandise. The police are investigating.
