ISLAMABAD – Hyderabad women defeated Sialkot by three wickets in the 9th Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah National Women Cricket Championship Pool A match here at National cricket ground on Saturday. Sialkot, batting first, were all out for 214 in 48.4 overs. Nida Dar scored 85 while Iram Butt added 42. Sumaiya Siddiqui clinched 7-27. In reply, Hyderabad achieved the target in 45.5 overs losing seven wickets. Sajida Shah made unbeaten 73. Nida Dar, Almas and Saba took two wickets each. In another Pool A match, Karachi thrashed Rawalpindi by 10 wickets. Rawalpindi, batting first, were bundled out for 103 in 38.5 overs while in reply, Karachi achieved the target in 17.1 overs. In Pool B matches, Lahore thrashed Multan by nine wickets while Islamabad crushed Abbottabad by 10 wickets.–Staff Reporter
