ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC), Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi has constituted eight benches to hear cases during the current week starting from Monday (today).

The CJ IHC has constituted these eight benches to conduct hearing of more than 300 cases during this week. To hold the hearing of these cases, the CJ IHC has constituted five single, two division and a special three-member benches.

The first division bench comprises Justice Noor-ul-Haq N Qureshi and Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, while the second division bench consists of Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamir Farooq. The five single benches include Chief Justice Anwar Khan Kasi, Justice Noor-ul-Haq N Qureshi, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamir Farooq.

Besides these regular benches, the CJ has also constituted a three-member special bench headed by Justice Qureshi to hear the petitions related to International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and Quaid-e-Azam University on May 25. The other two members of the bench include Justice Siddiqui and Justice Minallah.
