INCREASED POWER SUPPLY TO BALOCHISTAN LAUDED: Balochistan Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Information Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal has welcomed increase in power supply to the province from previous 450 megawatts to 700.

Speaking in Quetta on Sunday, he said that the province received mere 450MWs against its 1,200MWs demand from the national grid which caused widespread power loadshedding in rural and urban parts of the province, he said and added it will help to redress problems related to power outages in the province.

"Power shortage on one hand played havoc with the agriculture and livestock sectors while on the other increased sufferings of the people at large," the minister added.
