LAHORE - The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers Sunday staged protest demonstration in five cities against the joint investigation team’s report on Model Town incident.

The PAT spokesperson said the party organised protests in Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sialkot and Sahiwal which was attended by large number of PAT workers including females.

“We reject the JIT report as it was prepared on the direction of Punjab chief minister. We will go the last limit for getting justice for the martyrs of Model Town,” said Abbasi while addressing the protestors at the LPC. He demanded to run the case of Model Town incident in military court.

The protestors later held a rally and staged a symbolic sit-in at Davis Chowk to express their anger and grief over the report.

The PAT leaders vowed to spread the protests countrywide if the families of martyrs of Model Town incident were not provided justice.
