Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif says that 1230 megawatts electricity will be generated from Haveli Bahadur Shah (HBS) Gas Power Plant.

According to Radio Pakistan, he visited the Haveli Bahadur Shah power plant jag and reviewed the construction process.

Talking to media the CM said that this project will prove to be significant in the eradication of loadshedding from the country.

Shahbaz Sharif said that this project is being complete in collaboration with China.

Shahbaz Sharif said that this project is a milestone initiative for overcoming the darkness of loadshedding.

He said that 3600 megawatts electricity is being generated from Punjab. He said that there are four mega power projects in Punjab and the NAB should issue transparency certificate regarding these projects.

The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the five year performance of government.
