Those using abusive language aren't true representatives of nation: PM

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday while bashing his political opponents said that those who couldn’t do anything in 1500 days, what would they do in 100 days.

Addressing a ceremony in Sheikhupura on Friday, he said that those who use abusive language are not nation’s representatives, adding that the people who change their political loyalties only serve their own interests instead of interest of the country. He expressed hope that people will again elect PML-N in the next elections.

The prime minister said that no other government other than the ruling Pakisan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has done any development work in Sheikhupura.

“The PML-N-led government has started various projects worth Rs3 billion in Sheikhupuram,” he said and added now Mannanwala would be given status of Tehsil.

Abbasi went on to say that only the PML-N-led government can make the country an economic power.

There was gas crisis in the country including Punjab, when PML-N formed the government in 2013 but now there is excessive gas in the country, he said.

The PM said that a network of roads and motorways has been laid across the country; energy projects have been materialized; educational institutions have been established; new airports have been inaugurated, and new ports are being developed. He said CPEC will prove a milestone in development of the country.

He said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a first Muslim nuclear state, adding that the nation would vote for Nawaz Sharif with the spirit with which he had served the nation.

He said PML-N has already delivered in all sectors whereas others, who are giving 100-day program, are just making hollow slogans.

The premier also announced various development projects for the area, including status of Tehsil for Mananwala, girls degree college in Manawala and construction of stadium and different roads in the area.
