Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday has alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government of presenting wrong statistics before the nation.
In a statement, the PML-N leader said that unity among opposition parties in inevitable to save the masses from federal government’s fraud. All the opposition parties need to adopt joint strategy on this matter, he suggested.
Shehbaz Sharif further urged the opposition to come together to expose the historical incompetency and ineligibility of the PTI government.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif had hosted a dinner reception for all the opposition parties as an attempt to again include Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had formed a three member delegation comprising two former prime ministers Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf and Sherry Rehman to attend the dinner hosted by the PML-N president.
Awami National Party (ANP) that had left the PDM months ago was also represented by Amir Haider Khan Hoti.
However, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and PDM chairman and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman did not attend the event.
