Foreign Office on Wednesday rejected the remarks of Chairman Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) published in a section of press, and said that all diplomatic and consular missions abroad are playing an important role in promoting countrys economic and commercial interests. In a statement issued here, the Foreign Office spokesman said, We have nevertheless taken note of the remarks by Chairman PCMEA and are taking action as appropriate. Chairman PCMEA Pervaiz Hanif had given statement that some officials of the Pakistan embassies abroad are verbally warning foreign buyers seeking visas that visiting Pakistan is a life risk.
