LAHORE - Punjab has all the infrastructure to attend the needs of foreign investment and Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) is providing technical support and assistance to foreign investors for initiating new projects in province, said PBIT CEO Saadat Muzaffar. He was talking to a 9-member delegation of Japanese agriculturists who visited PBIT office here on Wednesday. The delegation was headed by Yasuhiro NAKAGAWA, Vice Chairman JA Japan, and President Kyoto Prefecture union of Agriculture Cooperatives. Leader of the delegation, Yasuhiro NAKAGAWA disclosed that Japan was presently importing garlic and ginger from China, however, keeping in view the good quality and standard of Pakistani products, Japan would prefer to import these two items from Pakistan. The members of the delegation showed keen interest in farming techniques/methods, dairy farms, quality of soil and product range. On this occasion, various investment projects were also introduced to the delegation.
